Crystal De Soto - Founder, Local Point of ViewBorn and raised in San Diego, I have spent my life exploring the natural world around me. I have worked as a naturalist and educator for the past 12 years. My specialty is marine education where I have managed the whale watching program for Birch Aquarium at Scripps, led SCUBA instruction at the Monterey Bay Aquarium, and performed on the Wyland Foundation Clean Water Challenge. I am always seeking new local adventures and welcome ideas. My latest adventure has been exploring the wilderness across the U.S. for inspiration.
